Before moving farther south, and arriving at our current stop, we spent about a month experiencing life in Dijon, France. It was actually a destination we almost overlooked! We had been planning the region, stopping in Strasbourg, Lyon, Annecy, and more when I noticed a name I recognized: Dijon. Yes, I recognized it because of the mustard. No, I had not realized before then that Dijon mustard was named after a place. Did I feel silly? Yes, absolutely.
